And on the town dart league there will always be fellas with their own personnell agendas and they will go down there and shout really loud get their opinions across and then thats it for another year job done and until all you guys get up off your arse and get down to the AGMs and do something about the RULES AND REGS instead of gettin on here and bitchin about em the better But then again knowin dart palyers like i do, when they change the rules that they have been bitchin about SHIT they go and find something else to BITCH about thats why i love this CRAZY thing called darts and why i have stayed involved with it for so long There was an email sent to me today saying that judging by the amount of Proposals that are down for dicussion at the AGM we should really think about starting it at 2pm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm now theres a thought ill leave ya all with
i dont think reaching the sunday of the comp is good enough if you dont win it its a bad result. but obviously wex darts you think getting threw and not being out of the top 8 is ok.
ah now wexdarts nobody was making the point that it "ONLY STARTED " last year im well aware for many years whats been going and the work involved. and after 3 bad years it was nice to get things back on track.(LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY).you point out wexfords record over the years and seem to think that it is acceptable mayb even a good record and its not bad. BUT and its a vy big BUT.wexfords record over the years has made for dissapointing reading. the reason is that many players and observers from well outside wexford feel that with the tallent available in wexford all down the years has been exceptional and there should be many more all irelands on the table.in a sport that is now professional at all levels we also have to take that approach to county darts. never mind trying to catch the standard bearers in order to achieve we must become the standard bearers and by the way i thought thats what the forums are for, airing ur vievs and having healthy debate?? i just think were getting lost in a little too much politics here and not enough darts. i have only one agenda------- an all ireland title!
pjesus after the three years that we had before this year getting to the last 8 is OK and thats were we will start again nxt yera and not winning the Competition was never good enough for me and never will be good enough Jesus i was nearly going to put smilies on there but i know pjesus dosent like em lmao triple5 Anybody without insider knowledge of what has gone on in Co Darts would read that thread and" what went on before this year MUST have been shite " It wsa nice to get back on track as you say but i will always defend and put the record straight when i see people talking like that i agree withya that with the talent in Wex we should have had more titles we were never more than a throw of a dart away from winning it on several different occasions .Never gave a rats arse about standard bearers in my life when it came to other teams And the forums are for airing your and my views on and will remain so as long as im around never was interested in the politics of antin in me life we have been talking darts for as long as i can remember on these forums and if a bit of the other gets mxed up in there a long the way so be it ITS A DEBATE and cant be left out so heres a few for u triple5 Your last point has been the sole purpose of the County Wexford Darts Org AGENDA for as far back as i can recall
wexford should be prepairing a team to win the all ireland. not come 2nd or 3rd but with the mind set of winnin the all irelands. if this means not drinkin or whatever it should be done..
wexford were in a slump in recient years and expections were low. i recall speaking to certain people about the lenisters before the event and all i ever got told was how its not that easy win. and not to get ahead of myself. this mind frame must be forgot about and put in the past and look to the future where we have plenty of silverware.
i think ill rest my case there wexdarts. like you said "never more than a throw away". always the bridesmaid never the bride a phraise all too often used to describe wexford sport
