The AGM of the League will take place on Thur 10th Dec 09 in the Gaelic Bar Bishopswater @8.30 Sharp any pubs who wish to take part in 2010 campaign should Attend. Well its nearly that time of the year again when all the the fellas who have their own agenda /s attend the AGM get their ideas across to the floor shout the loudest get em passed then dissappear again for another year while playing darts in the league under rules which suit only them and fwck the rest of yez

Well the agm of the League took place last night in the Gaelic Bar was a lively enough meeting the fact that one of the Pubs wanted the 1st Div opened up to all County Players [ no limit on the amount ] it was debated at lenght and was put to the floor and was amendment was defeated would like to get some of your reactions to this a meeting is called for Monday night and after this all info will appear on the Smithwicks page re ; Start of League / when teams have to be in by etc etc all pubs will get a letter regarding this

Yea was there myself and i have to say was not happy with a few of the things that were said why in thye world would the Town Dart League want to go with the top twenty five [25] when there are only 22 so far going ???? makes no sense what so ever the players who are not picked are being penalised as far as i can make out there are forur players involved on six [6] points ??? the usual amount were objecting to it

I could see the point you were making Wexdarts wanting the League to Affilate to the Co Board for a period of one year and give ranking points to the 1st Div players for every game they win CREATE a bit of interest in darts but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FWCKING way were you ever going to get your way on that one [wont say to much more on that one only get meself in deeeeeeeeppppp do do you know what i mean by that ]

OH and another thing when does the treasurer of any organisation ever take the Chair at meetings he seemed to be fielding all the Questions mmmmmmmm ya should have taken that nomination when it was offered to ya it would have went to a vote mmmmmmm and as for the Sec mmmmmmm

I also seem to remember at earlier AGMs / if players / pubs put in proposels / amendments stroke whatever if the proposel was rejected and parts of the proposels was acceptable it was always reworded and if it got a seconder it was put to the floor you had said somethinfg along those line yourself when it was talked about by that chap who played darts for the Monk last year would i be right on that its one for you to ponder

firstly the "RANKING LIST" belongs to the cwdo and its members only, for the purpose of placing players for inter county selection. it cannot and should not be used by any other organisation or league to grade players.(legal fact).if the town league or any other league wish to grade(discriminate) its own players it must install its own ranking system which applies equally and fairly to ALL REPEAT ALL players taking part in the league. secondly the idea of opening the first devision to all players who want to take part in it is a great idea most fellas want to play with their mates anyway and dont want to be told well if you want to play u have to go here or there to play. i porsonally dont care who plays where there all beatable on the nite and it can only be good for the standard of darts. and most people want to play at the highest standard even if u are getting beat. it seems to me the 3 player limit only affects one pub and they didnt even win it last year the team that did can still bring in 2 or 3 so called county players. WHAT A FCKUIN JOKE THAT IS TO UR RULES.lastly anyone whos not up to standing to the tip and playing the best thats out there to play every week should piss off back to devision 2 0r 3 or what ever level they play at and leave the fellas that are to do just that ,never mind sticking their two pence worth in where its not wanted. as the old saying goes EMPTY VESSELS MAKE THE MOST NOISE.

The ruling on the Town Dart League re the Ranking list is that for the coming year 2010 the registered Co players at the 31st Dec will be deemed as county Players and the ruling three county players per team will apply from that list
It has been the case with the CWDO that if any league applies to them for an Official Ranking list it would be supplied and that is the way it has to remain until such time as i am instructed by an AGM not to supply it to them

only to be expected i suppose same theory as always applies. if ya cant beat them throw them out!

Every body knows how i feel on this matter its well documented by now i believe that NO PLAYER WHO PLAYS FOR HIS/ HER COUNTY BE PENALISED FOR SAME but on the other hand i am hearing through the Grapevine of a certain couple of pubs already on the fone / tom toms / smoke signels what ever already sounding out players and they aint no ordinary run of the mill players either they would be players that i would like to see playing County Darts if you get my drift its going back to an old thread of mine stacking teams its a fact of life [ and there is a certain no of pubs / publicans out there who will do this ]
Oh and by the way it will always remain the same old same old if all you guys dont get up your Derry Airs and get down your AGMs and change the RULES or are you just going to remain on the Ditch bitching and moaning about them fwcking rules always the same moan moan moan yez had tyour chance last thurs night yez all got notification of the AGM AND WHEN ALL MOTIONS HAD TO BE INBY and where where yez probably sitting in some pub or other saying well i suppose the Town Dart league are going to bring in the same rules again MOAN MOAN MOAN BITCH heard it all before lads the rules are in get over it and hope to see all of you next year at the AGM

unfort the phones were ringing in certain places long beford the agm and for thatreason im assuming that the out come was a fore gone conclusion. my biggest bone of contention is penalising county players its only two days out a year for the ones who go to the bother of travelling to the ranking events and instead of being supported in everyway possible by the leagues throught the county this is the crap you get instead. it wont help the first devision in any way or help despirse players evenly through out the teams that are taking part as was the arguement of so many people who supported the cap on county players. at the end of the day there will still be one team of hot shots and possibly none of them will be county players. anyway no more moaning time to draw the curtain on this one better things to be doing in life then waisting time on big egos and bad darts.
