county player thing wat an absolute joke ya mite as well give the league up already like infairness bloody cowards i can understand not wanting a group of county players on one team it wudnt be very good like. but im telln ya u wait and see it will go 1 of both ways either there will be a mass exodus of players from the league or someone will put a team together of "non" county players that no county team would beat the very minute u start this complete shite of sayn "u cant play bcus ur to gud for us" and that is exactly wat ur sayn thing go wrong. for example if the county puts in a b team into the leinsters this year which is very possibe are they "to good" to play in the league aswell even tho some of these players would be very very average like all u would need to do ta make this team is to just show up to the ranking events. so then wat your sayn is if u can drive u cant play because ur to good at darts ........... sounds stupid i know but its exactly how stupid yee r maken it. there aint that much darts in ross and not very many "county Players" either the team who won it only had 2 like so by sayn 1 county player im guessn you think u will hav more teams THIS WILL NOT WORK as lads who want to play darts really realible people who bother to make the effort propley go to the odd ranking events anyway

and another thing wat happens if a teams form town has one county players and the teams wins and the players on that team start playn darst again and darts pick up in town next year and one r 2 of them go to county events and make a team which they will cus all u need to do is SHOW UP aere they banned from the league next year. why dont yas jus localise teams and vet them in like if your worry about the team entering like but for god sake dnt restrict them u have players that cant play for there own local because THERE TO GOOD.

last year there were no co. players allowed , and we got 22 teams , at least this year co .players can play . Any one who has being on the co .team in last 3 years will be classed as co.player. the vintners association of ireland are starting an all ireland comp for pubs and they have imposed a limit of one co .player per doubles team . point being every one tries to make comp,s as fair as possible.

the answer to all the above problems is a simple one. two divisions!!!!!!!!! ive heard along the way that the best players in the ross district arnt taking part this year and the reason being that 6 or 7 of them were not classed as count players last year but seeming will be this year and want to make better use of their time and what few spare quid thats available to play else where.and lets face it playing darts costs players money and god knows its not plenty full at the moment. maybe someone could put some light on this rumour???? i would personally hate to see this happen as i enjoy a crack at these players and its a joy to see them at their best. went to the semi last year with foleys and cassagh. television stuff in our league. a shame to keep those fellas out because certain people think they mite have a chance to win then. just to clarify something with ya there nicky on the vintners it has nothing to do with being fair!!!! they just want as many people to lob money behind their counters as possible for the least ammount of input possible. twenty county players paired = 20 people twenty county players with someone else = well im sure you can work it out. most of these great publicans didnt even want a dart board in their pubs 3 or 4 years ago now their going to be great supporters of the game. and the same for the ross league nothing to do with making it fair either just fellas who are no good wanting a bit of glory with out having to put in hours and hours of hard practice

one co. player per doubles team is fine and yes its fair and more people in pubs doubles is jus bit of craic always was. but team event where one players plays singles for the team is a bit more than that. my point bein one co.player per doubles team = fair . one co.player per team of 7 = joke. the team that won it last year 5 co.players team that lost semi to them 4 co.players oh by the way wat happens if a team wins it for a few years and they dnt play county how do ya stop them or is this justified
