Can anybody tell me why the rules for the highest checkout have changed this year. It always applied to the group stages only, but now seemingly it carries on into play-offs and finals. My family have been involved in Town Dart League for years and none of us have ever heard of it being carried on. It is not stated in the rule book that this has changed. Therefore any team qualifying for playoffs or finals have the advantage of extra games to play compared to those who don't qualify. Committee members are disagreed on this matter and there was no presentation of highest checkout at Div 4 Finals last night!!!

Hi Kathleen 1st of all let me tell you that you really have posted this on the wrong section this is County Wexford Darts Org you should have posted this in the Smithwicks Town Dart League section but let me set you straight on the Question you ask NOBODY changed the Rule This rule has now bee in existance now for as long as the League is going and will remain so until somebody brings it up at an AGM and get it changed You are right in saying it apploies to teh Group stages but it also applies right up to and including the Final . It was never put into the Rule book as it never seemed to crop up before ?? but it will now be put foward to next years AGM TO BE PUT INTO THE RULE BOOK I am sure the reason why you never heard of this rule before was because maybe yoy were never closely involved in it BEFORE [ WAS THERE SOME OF YOUYR FAMILY INVOLVED IN IT THIS YEAR ????? ] I can assure you the Committee members are not in disagreement with this .
