any word on who in on the wex town team for the league of leagues tournament yet.? the closing date for entrys in 3 weeks .are any of there teams picked yet..
a few other leagues already have there teams selected.
there will be a lot of people there that are very unfimiar should make for a great day of darts...
A panel of 8 -10 players must be submitted for each team. One captain and one vice captain is also required per team Any player, captain or vice captain may only appear on one team sheet. A team of 7 players will be playing on the day, format is 7 singles games All leagues playing in county wexford will be invited to enter a team or teams based on the league size. A max of 2 player from any one team in there respective league may be selected for each panel submitted. If a pub has more than one team regardless of there division then a max of two players can be selected from each team onto the same panel. When submitting a panel all parts must be filled out regarding player’s locals. And must be signed be each player as each player can only sign for one team.
A player’s status as regards the pub team they represent will be based on the teams submitted for the 08-09 season
Team selection must be done as follows.
League with less than 4 teams to select from- A minimum of 3 teams must appear on the entry form, of these 3 pubs a minimum of 2 players from each pub must the on the entry sheet.
Leagues with 4 or 5 teams to select from- 2 players from each team must appear on the entry sheet.
Leagues with 5 or more teams- Any players from any team regardless of division, with no more than 2 players from any one team.
Leagues with 5 or more teams- Any players from any team regardless of division, with no more than 2 players from any one team.
this is what will apply to most leagues. so for example wex town could have 2 players from browns A 2 players from browns B 2 players from gealic bar A 2 from gealic bar B and 2 from chads bar to make up ten players.
key point is no more than players from any one team.
we were in contact with your chairman yesterday to tell him that the wex ladies could have a team entered for free and he said wex town not entering any team.... its a pity. the biggest league in the county wont be reperesented.
