Ger Foxe Tom O Connor have been asked over a very long period of time to come back and play for the County and to our rankings but for various reasons they have declined all approaches Dom has indicated that he is on the way back which would be great and Garry is still to prove himself all the players you have put in your DREAM team have all played for the County at variuos times and we are well aware of what they can do but like all players they have to attend our Ranking tournaments the rest of your team have all proven track records it is hoped to arrange some practice matches over the coming months so as to asess all the players in the top Twenty (20) so if you know a couple of Pubs / Hotels willing to sponcer the Co Team maybe we could arrange for them to come down and play a local selection now that could be a good place to start so if you fancy your chances get a team and a bit of sponcership together and give me aring   ;)

3 Jason Cullen
4 Andrew Kavanagh
5 Tom O Connor
6 Stephen Redmond
7 Kieran Kehoe
8 Stephen Btyrne
9 Tom Power
10 John Cullen
11 Jack Murphy
12 Eddie Berry
13 Peter Waters

picking a dream deam is impossable for anybody to do as nobody here knows every dart player in the county and im sure if you picked the best 10 or 13 from the ranking list at the end of the year im sure a team could be made up of player from the county that dont attend ranking events are that we here just dont know of and this team im sure would give the highest ranked county player a great match.

trying to create interest in county darts and infulence new top class player to attend would be the first step to getting a dream team to be a reality.

personaly i think wex men have a team capable of winning back to back all irelands.

i also know of 2 or 3 player thay would be a great addition to the county team who is not on any list there.

the wex dream team does not hafto remain a dream.

dream team

1 jason cullen
2 noel redmond
3 kerien kehoe
4 andrew kavanagh
5 peter waters
6 ger foxe
7 tom o connor
8 john brown
9 dom fenlon
10 john o grady

if the panel is to be 20 people then

11 eddie berry
12 stephen byrne
13 willy kavanagh
14 andrew dwyer
15 pj stafford
16 garry bradley
17 martin kinsella
18 seamus murphy
19 damian donavan
20 edward o connor

that top 20 players is not impossable for a county panel ant that panel would frighter any other county team.

back to back all irelands with a team like like that.

if there was a panel like that all players would up there game as there are players not on the starting the team of 13 would would be more than capable of taking a place on the team should any of the starting 13 have a poor game...

living in the real world is a good idea, everybody can talk about dream teams, has anybody on here played in a group of 5 teams of 12 over a 15 hour day and getting the right amount of drink/rest/food right ???? and getting up the next morning brown eyed and bushy tailed to resume playing at 10am the next morn you can say drink should not be a factor but ask any of the names on the list what they think, a proven track record at inter county level is essintial for the long haul playing over two days + the fact if people arrive in castlebar on fri night and go on the piss and blame everything else other than themselves and fail to drop themselves where does that leave them. the last point is to top 20 listed on the last comment is enough to win any inter county tours and bear in mind 12 of them are on the county pannel at the moment.
